Sree Vishnu’s Alluri is up for a grand release in theaters on September 23, 2022. On this occasion, we met with the film’s producer Bekkem Venu Gopal for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

Tell us about Alluri.

Since my childhood, I have had huge admiration and respect for the police and at some point in my life, I also wanted to be a policeman. I felt emotional after the narration and now, I am feeling happy for producing Alluri, which is a story about a sincere police officer’s sacrifice.

Working experience with Sree Vishnu?

He was introduced by me to the industry with Prema Ishq Kadhal. Since then he acted in many movies and gained fame. For Alluri, he transformed to look perfect. He gave his best for a better output. You will witness his intensity on September 23 in theaters.

How Alluri is different from other police-based films?

Alluri is a story of a police officer who sacrificed his life. You need to watch the film to know why and for what he sacrificed his life. Besides professional issues, the personal problems of a policeman have been shown in a well manner. 14 years of the life journey of a policeman will be shown in this movie. This film will inspire the people who aspire to become police officers. Everyone will connect to Alluri’s story and after watching this movie, they will respect police more than before.

Any promotional plans?

Yes! We have planned promotional tours in various locations. We decided to meet and felicitate a few policemen in Vizag, Warangal, Nizamabad and other places. Also, we will begin musical promotions from the day after tomorrow. The pre-release event will be held after the promotional tour.

What are the updates about meeting regarding industry problems?

We, producers, have already discussed the issues. And it is clear that the meetings are about the issues related to wages, OTT and theaters but not about heroes’ remunerations. We will come up with more details in the next 3-4 days.
