Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal is set to entertain the audience with the cop action drama Satyabhama. Naveen Chandra plays a pivotal role in this film, produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the Aurum Arts banner. Major director Sashi Kiran Tikka serves as the presenter and has also provided the screenplay. The crime thriller is directed by Suman Chikkala. Ahead of the release, Kajal Aggarwal interacted with the media, and here is the transcript.

How close is Satyabhama’s character to your real life?

The Satyabhama character can be related to my personal life. Like my role in this film, in real life, I also react when something happens in society. Even if I don’t come out and hold rallies, I will share my opinions and thoughts about the incident. Like everyone else, I have personal opinions about what happens in the society.

How is Satyabhama different from your other films?

I played many characters so far, but this is the first time I have done an emotional action film like Satyabhama. I also performed the action sequences. While acting in this film, I felt emotions that I had never felt before. They all seem realistic to you.

Do you think the movie will bring a significant impact in your career?

For a long time, I was called the Chandamama of Tollywood. Now I will be happy to be called Satyabhama. Chandamama is a beautiful name, and Satyabhama is a powerful name. I like both. When I heard this story, I gave my nod instantly.

Tell us about your working experience with Sashi Kiran.

Sashi Kiran is a good director. I watched his previous movies. I asked Sashi why he isn’t directing Satyabhama. Sashi said that he is providing the screenplay for this movie and will act as the presenter. We never want to work alone. Different jobs should be explored. I fully respect Sashi’s decision and he made sure this project was successful in every way.

How did you feel playing a cop on screen?

Previously, I appeared in a police getup in the movie Jilla. But it was not a serious role. In Satyabhama, I played a powerful police officer which is a blend of emotion and action. Many heroines have played police roles in the past, but this is completely new to me. I performed in my style. I hope you like it.

What is the film about?

Satyabhama addresses key aspects like youth, games, betting, and religion. But the movie does not degrade any religion. It is just a part of the story. There will be more twists and turns in the movie than what you have seen in the trailer. There is more than it meets the eyes. I want you to experience those surprises in theatres.
