Rakul Preet Singh is on top of her game in Tollywood. She is back with her latest film Sarrainodu, which is up for release this Friday. On this occasion, we caught up with her for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

Q) Firstly, did you dub for this film as well ?

No ! as I play a village belle in the film, I did not dub for my character.

Q) Tell us about your role ?

I play a village girl called Maha Lakshmi who is quite lively in nature. I have a very interesting equation with Allu Arjun and the way Boyapati has showcased it is just wonderful.

Q) Did you undergo any preparation for your role ?

No! I just followed my director Boyapati and did whatever he told me to do.

Q) How was it working with Boyapati ?

He is tough task master and is quite clear with everything he does. The way he narrates you the story and the way he executes it is the exact same. What is on the paper will be on the screen.

Q) How difficult was it dancing with Bunny ?

Yes ! it was very hard and I had to work extra time to get my steps right.

Q) Are you not bored with doing only commercial films ?

Not at all. I am loving what I am doing, but having said that, I would love to do an out and out love story like DDLJ.

Q) How do you rate your success in Tollywood ?

Touchwood, everything has been going supremely well. The word of mouth about me from the audience is very good and I thank each one of those who have brought me to where I am.

Q) What do you think has clicked with you in Tollywood ?

See, I am a person who believes in doing my work and never crib about anything else. I feel that if you continue doing your work, success will surely come your way.

Q) Looks like you settled down nicely in Hyderabad ?

Yes ! I have bought an house now and my fitness centre business is also doing absolutely fine. Things have been going pretty good and I would want them to keep going that way.

Q) Your future projects ?

I am doing a film with both Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej post Sarrainodu.
