Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s next release is Dhamaka this Friday. Sreeleela plays the leading lady, and Trinadha Rao Nakkina is the director. TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla are producing the movie under People Media Factory & Abhishek Aggarwal Arts banners. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the tunes. Ahead of the release, we interacted with Sreeleela, and here is the transcript.

When did the team approach you for Dhamaka?

I was supposed to do one of the female leads in Hello Guru Premakosame. I met writer Prasanna Garu during that time, but it didn’t work out. However, as soon as I heard Dhamaka’s script, I decided to do the film. It was very entertaining, and hence I decided to be part of it.

How did you feel as you worked with a senior like Ravi Teja?

I felt very nervous initially. During my first film, everyone was mostly new, but here in Dhamaka, I am working with a star. After working with Ravi Teja Garu, I gained more confidence. He motivates very well. He made me feel comfortable.

How was your off-screen bonding with Ravi Teja?

His timing was impeccable, and it was a bit difficult for me to handle it. However, he used to teach and guide me. If he liked my expression in any scene, he used to appreciate me. Ravi Teja sir is very supportive and knowledgeable.

According to the trailer, you like both the characters played by Ravi Teja. Can you talk about it?

It is the twist factor in the film. My character is named Pranavi, and she will travel with both the characters in the movie. She gets into confusion, and there would be a little suspense about whom she will finally end up with.

Will you work if there are multiple heroines in a film?

It again depends on the script. I feel this isn’t the best option, especially when someone is in the nascent days of their career. We need to reach a level to do these kinds of films so that we can perform beside big stars. I think I still gave time for that.

Can you talk about the best moments from Dhamaka?

While we were shooting the Jinthaak Jinthaak song in Spain, my costume suitcase got missed somehow. I was tense about the same and disclosed the same thing to my team. So our director and DOP Garu traveled for two to three hours and did the shopping. That was a very cute moment for me.

Can you talk about your journey?

I am a proper dancer, and I started my dancing practice when I was three years old. After my school, I used to attend my dance class, music class, swimming class, tuition, and so on. My mom taught me that hard work is essential to succeed in life.
