Young Hero Nithin is on a comeback mode of sorts after the romantic entertainer ‘Ishq’ brought much needed success. He is now all set to hit the screens with ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe’. Nithya Menen and Isha Talwar will be seen as the female leads and Anup Rubens has composed the music.

The film has 4 songs, a remix of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Tholiprema’ song and one more club mix. Let us check out the audio album now.

1. Song: Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe

Singers: Anup Rubens, Sravani and Chorus

Lyrics : Krishna Chaitanya

gjg1 ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe’ is the title song of the album and it has a very nice feel to it. Vocals have been taken care of by Anup Rubens and Sravani. Though he has done a good job, Anup Rubens does not have the kind of voice necessary for a romantic duet. Sravani on the other hand, is very good and her voice is perfect for the mood of the song. Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics are nice. Music is contemporary and melodious. Overall, this is a good romantic number that has the potential for some great picturization.

2.Song: Thu Hi Rey

Singers: Nikhil D Souza and Nithya Menen

Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya

gjg4 ‘Thu Hi Rey’ is the best song of the album. This romantic duet has been sung by Nikhil D Souza and Nithya Menen and they have done a superb job with the vocals. Nithya Menen is a very talented singer and she shows her class once again. Music is melodious and peppy, with percussion instruments and the synthesizer being the most dominant instruments. Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics have a nice feel. Overall, this is a very enjoyable number that has the potential to be a chartbuster.

3.Song: Ding Ding Ding

Singers: Nithin, Chaitra, Thagubothu Ramesh, Anup Rubens and Dhananjai

Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya

gjg2 This is the pub song/item song of the movie and Jwala Gutta will make an entry in this very same number. There is nothing special in the vocals department and the same is the case with Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics. Thagubothu Ramesh’s voice brings some humour into the song. Music is pretty ordinary. Overall, this is a very routine song which has nothing notable in it except for Jwala Gutta.

4.Song: Neeve Neeve

Singers: Adnan Sami

Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya

gjg5 ‘Neeve Neeve’ is a solo number which has been rendered well by Adnan Sami. The song will most likely be used to showcase the hero’s feelings for his lady love, after the first meeting. Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics are neat. Music is decent. Indian and Western instruments have been used together for this song. Overall, this is a decent song that will grow on you slowly.

Verdict :

Overall, this is a decent album that has some cool melodies. ‘Thu Hi Rey’ and ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe’ are the best songs of the lot and they will become popular. Adnan Sami’s ‘Neeve Neeve’ will take some time to get used to. Anup Rubens has not experimented much and the tunes have his trademark western beats all over them.
