Srikanth and J.D.Chakravarthy have teamed up for this new movie called ‘All the Best’. The movie has been directed by J.D. himself and Sambasiva Rao is the producer. The film has Lucky Sharma as the heroine. Let us see how the movie is.

Story :

The film’s plot is loosely based on Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Bluffmaster’. Ravi (Srikanth) desperately needs 15 lakhs to save his father who has been wrongly arrested. Desperate and without any other alternative, Ravi joins hands with a conman Chandu (J.D. Chakravarthy) to make a quick buck. They hatch a plan to ‘sell’ some land to a guy called Razak (Pradeep Rawat) and raise some money to get the deal moving. They borrow some cash from Gochi Savitri (Brahmanandam) and start the show.

But at the last minute, Razak imposes a new condition for the deal to go through. This leaves both Ravi and Chandu in a fix. What is that condition? Will Chandu and Ravi be able to fulfill that condition? And is Ravi really teaming up with Chandu? That forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points :

Srikanth is just about ok in the role of Ravi. The film’s only real good sequences are between Krishna Bhagawan and Telangana Sakunthala. They have a good comedy track between them and provide much needed comic relief. Raghubau and Raghu Karumanchi also manage to bring about a few laughs.

Pradeep Rawat and Brahmaji are ok. Rao Ramesh imitates his father Rao Gopala Rao in a few sequences and he is fine. Lucky Sharma comes up with a liberal glamour show in the film.

Minus Points :

This is a very poor excuse of a film and it shows the absolute lack of command J.D. has over direction. Even as an actor, J.D.Chakravarthy fails to impress in this movie. Lucky Sharma is another big minus for the film. She does not know even the basics of acting.

Brahmanandam is wasted in the poorly executed role of Gochi Savitri. There is absolutely no relation between the title ‘All the Best’ and the film and only the director should explain the ‘logic’ behind it.

Terrible screenplay and very bad narration are some of the other things that will get the audience to scratch their heads in frustration. There are tons of other issues which cannot even be listed in the interests of time and space.

Technical Aspects :

Hema Chandra’s music is just average and only ‘Sana Sana’ song is decent. Sai Karthik’s background score is not impressive and same goes for G.Siva Kumar’s cinematography. Except for a few scenes, dialogues are not very good either. Editing is very poor.

Verdict :

J.D. Chakravarthy is using some Hollywood or Bollywood movie as the base to make very poor ‘freemakes’. This movie ‘All the Best’ has nothing going for it except for a few comedy scenes. Its a badly made film and you can very safely stay away from it. This movie fails to entertain.
