Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor’s speech in Tamil was one of the major highlights of Devara’s promotional event in Chennai yesterday. Dressed in a beautiful white saree, the gorgeous actress won the hearts of Tamil fans with her fluent Tamil.
Janhvi started off her speech with a “Vanakkam” and continued to say that Chennai is very special to her. “My mother had many fond memories of Chennai. I hope you will give me the same love you gave to my mother. Your love is the reason why we are here today, and I am forever grateful to you all. I promise that I will work very hard as my mother. Devara is very special to me. The entire team has given the best for the movie, and I hope you all enjoy what we’ve made,” said the young beauty.
Janhvi concluded her speech, saying that she hopes to act in a straight Tamil film soon. In Devara, Janhvi plays the role of a village belle named Thangam. The film marks her debut in the southern film industry. Also starring NTR and Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, Devara: Part 1 is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. The film is gearing up for its world theatrical release on September 27.
