Bheems Ceciroleo is an upcoming music director who is making his presence felt in Tollywood. He is in much news for his hit music in Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger. On the eve of the film’s release, we caught up with him for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

Q)How did you bag Bengal Tiger offer ?

I have a very close relation with director Sampath Nandi as I have worked with him in the past. As soon as his project was okayed with Ravi Teja, Sampath asked me to compose a few tunes. We took those tunes to Ravi Teja and after listening to them, he approved my work right away and asked me to compose music for the film.

Q)How was the entire experience of working for a big budget film ?

I had a very good time and learned a lot while working on this film. Ravi Teja gave me a lot of inputs regarding the songs and encouraged me a lot. I should also thank the producer Radha Mohan and Sampath Nandi for giving me free hand in selecting the singers. This album would have never turned so good without their help.

Q)Even though your music is quite popular, people hardly know you ?

I feel that our work should speak for itself than our self promotion. People should instantly remember your name once they listen to your music. That is the biggest gift the audience gives you once they start appreciating your work.

Q)What are the special elements in this album ?

Touch wood, all the songs have been received well. For one of the songs Banchan, we used a Telugu rap which is quite new for Tollywood. The album also has a romantic number which is being appreciated big time. I also feel that with Bengal Tiger, I have taken another leap in my career.

Q)Most of your music has folk flavour. Why is that so ?

May be because I am from the rural area, the flavour automatically comes in my songs. I am slowly moving out from that style and have tried many new things in Bengal Tiger.

Q)Who is your inspiration in music ?

I am a huge fan of Mani Sharma and also like Harris Jayaraj a lot.

Q)What are your future projects ?

There are so many offers but I am taking some time and will pick the best out of the lot which will take me to the next level.
