Interview : Sruthi Haasan – Mahesh Babu is a disciplined actor

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Srimanthudu is one of the much anticipated film’s this season. Directed by Mirchi fame Koratala Shiva, it also features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. On the eve of the film’s release, we caught up with Shruti Haasan for a brief interview with her. Let’s see what she has to say.

Q) You shuffle between Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Which is your favourite ?

I can’t name one particular place as I am a nomadic and feel at home where ever I find love.

Q) What is your gut feeling about Srimanthudu ?

I am very excited and confident about the movie’s success. I hope that Mahesh Babu’s performance and Koratala Shiva’s direction will work in favour of the movie.

Q) How was it working with Mahesh Babu ?

It was a very good experience working with Mahesh. He is a very disciplined actor and maintains a grounded attitude.

Q) Tell us about your role in Srimanthudu ?

I play the role of Charuseela who is a college going girl. She is traditional, strong and a sensible girl. The character is quite different from my previous films.

Q) Tell us your working experience with Koratala Shiva ?

He is a calm and sweet person to work with. He is very focused and clean in his approach towards films.

Q) How is the response for the audio and what is your favourite song in the album ?

The initial response for the audio was superb and I hope the audience will love the songs more after seeing the visuals on the big screen. Jatha Kalise was presented pretty well and I like it very much.

Q) Have you dubbed for your role in this film ?

No, although I am familiar with Telugu, my voice doesn’t sync with this role. I will surely try to dub for my roles in the future.

Q) What are your upcoming projects ?

I am currently busy with one Hindi film and a couple of Tamil flicks. I have few other projects lined up but I am very selective and will sign them only after a while.
