Q)Are you nervous about the film’s release ?

I have a sentiment of watching the preview of all my films in a particular theater. I get a very honest review from my team whenever a film turns out well. Same happened with Columbus and I am quite excited about the film’s release.

Q)What is this film all about ?

Columbus is a feel good love story which will entertain every section of the audience. The second half will be a huge key to the film with ample entertainment.

Q)How important is this film to your career ?

Columbus is very crucial for my future. The success will pave for a good path in my career and am very confident about its success.

Q)Why is the film named Columbus ?

The hero of the film discovers something for his love. What is that he discovers, you have to watch the film to find out.

Q)How is your career shaping up ?

I have done five films till date and this film is quite important. I need to establish myself in the industry and then would like to do some interesting projects. I know my strengths and am playing according to it.

Q)How far is your dad helping in your career ?

He has done everything for me and suggests what ever is good for my career. He has a good sense of film making and gives his honest opinions about my films. Columbus is his story and he has given a very interesting subject.

Q)Do failures disappoint you ?

Obviously, I get bogged down very much with failures. Film making is a collective process as so much of hard work is put in and if a film fails, it hurts big time.

As soon as we finished scripting, we decided to have some noted heroines in the film. So we zeroed in on Mishti and Seerat Kapoor. Both have done a wonderful job and gave a fresh feel to the film.
