This is your second film with Ravi Teja after Dhamaka. So, the expectations are high. How will the film be?
Dhamaka is a mass entertainer, but Eagle is a stylish action entertainer. The movie has also got entertainment. Eagle is a content-rich film. It has all the elements to please the audience. Viewers will surely enjoy the film. Ravi Teja Garu sported a new look. The story, message, action, and songs are extraordinary.
Why did you do back-to-back films with Ravi Teja?
We have an extraordinary rapport with Ravi Teja Garu. That’s the reason we did back-to-back films with him.
Could you tell us about the director?
We have known Karthik Ghattamaneni for a long time. We planned Eagle during the shoot of Dhamaka. He delivered a solid product. Karthik is doing one more film with us, and we will announce the details soon.
The movie’s release date shifted from Sankranthi to February 9. Do you think the craze increased in the trade circles?
We postponed the release keeping in view the welfare of the industry. When it comes to trade, our film was the second best during Sankranthi, and now it is the most preferred one. All the films have their target audience.
How many films can we expect from PMF this year?
There will be a minimum of 15 releases. These are in the post-production stage. Six films are in the production stage. Apart from these, we are producing a few movies for ETV Win. We are making four films in America. Every month, there will be at least one film coming from People Media Factory. We hope that we will complete 50 films by this year.
When will Raja Saab release? Do you have any plans to venture into OTT?
We will announce the details soon. We don’t have any plans to launch OTT platforms. But we will play a bigger role in the OTT space.
