Fans of legendary Tamil actor-filmmaker Kamal Hassan, popular Kollywood hero Sivakarthikeyan, and star heroine Sai Pallavi were in for a pleasant treat when the three stars interacted with the media and fans to promote their upcoming movie, Amaran, this evening in Chennai. While Siva and Sai Pallavi play the main leads, Kamal is bankrolling the project.
Dressed in a beautiful saree, Sai Pallavi stole everyone’s hearts with her mesmerizing presence at the event. On the other hand, both Kamal and Sivakarthikeyan kept it simple in casual and formal wear, respectively. Speaking at the event titled Amaran – an introduction, Sivakarthikeyan said that he couldn’t sleep after listening to Amaran’s story and that he decided to take Indian Army Major Mukund Varadarajan’s story to the masses.
Amaran has a military backdrop, with Sivakarthikeyan portraying the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was posthumously awarded Ashoka Chakra for sacrificing his life in a terrorist attack at the border. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is gearing up for its theatrical release on October 31 as a Diwali treat. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
