More and more film stars and celebrities are openly coming out to condemn Telangana minister Konda Surekha’s malicious comments on Tollywood ex-couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha and the Akkineni family. National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun is the latest to join the bandwagon.
Allu Arjun took to X this morning and shared a heartfelt note while also criticizing the minister’s comments. Allu Arjun wrote, “I strongly condemn the baseless derogatory comments made about film personalities and film families. This behavior is deeply disrespectful and goes against the values of our Telugu culture. Such irresponsible actions should not be accepted as normal.”
The Pushpa: The Rule star went on to urge the parties involved to “act more responsibly and respect individual privacy, especially towards women.” “We must promote respect and dignity in society as a whole,” he concluded. Earlier today, in a message to Samantha, Konda Surekha regretted and retracted her comments.
