Ajmal1
Handsome hero Ajmal, became quite popular after the super success of Rangam and Raccha. He is now back with a straight Telugu film in Prabhanjanam. On the eve of his film’s release, we caught up with him for a brief chit chat. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q) Why have you distanced yourself from Telugu films these days ?

A) I had prior commitments in Tamil and Malayalam, and was completing those projects.

Q) Why did you choose a political subject once again ?

A) The story deals with the fight of a common man, who does good for the society. After my the producers saw me in Rangam, they felt that I could do justice to this author backed role.

Q) Tell us something about your role ?

A) I play a rich spoilt brat, who later realizes his responsibility and does good for the society in his own way.

Q) Is this movie anywhere similar to Rangam ?

A) Absolutely no. This movie is way different from Rangam, and even the character I portray is entirely new.

Q) How was it working with senior actors like Kota and Nasser ?

A) I had a wonderful learning experience working with them. I have some powerful dialogues in the film, and both of them helped me in getting my diction and dialogue delivery right.

Q) How are you managing with the language here ?

A) I have the knack of picking up languages. I am also working hard, and taking lessons to learn Telugu.

Q) How are you managing three languages simultaneously ?

A) I have absolutely no problem in that. For me it is only one project after the other. I want to be like Kamal Haasan who can do any role, and can work in different languages.

Q) What about your future projects ?

A) I am doing my next Tamil film alongside Radhika Apte of Legend fame. My next Telugu project with director Vamsi, has also been completed and is getting ready to release soon.
