Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s next theatrical is Ravanasura, directed by Sudheer Varma. Produced by Abhishek Nama and Ravi Teja under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks, Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo scored the tunes for this flick. Sushanth, Sriram, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj played vital roles. Ahead of its release on April 7th, we had a brief interaction with actress Faria Abdullah and here is the transcript.

How is your character going to be in Ravanasura?

I play Kanaka Mahalakshmi in Ravanasura, who is a lawyer. Not like the one I played in Jaathirathnalu. Kanaka Mahalakshmi is a serious lawyer. Ravi Teja plays my senior lawyer. There will be a lot of variations in the role I play, and it changes according to the film’s plot.

Five heroines are acting in this film. How will be your combo scenes with them?

I have combo scenes only with Megha Akash. All five heroines have completely distinct roles in the film. I played a crucial role in Ravanasura, which has scope for performance.

What kind of homework did you do for the lawyer character?

The court scenes will be lesser in number. The lawyer backdrop is going to be significant. The character Kanaka Mahalakshmi that I play is a married woman, and there needs to be maturity in the body language. Even the mindset must be a bit different.

How was your working experience with Ravi Teja Garu?

It was great working with Ravi Teja Garu. Not just as an actor, but he is also even inspirational as a person. We can learn a lot from Ravi Teja Garu if we speak to him during the shot gap.

How did you react when you heard the story?

Writer Srikanth gave me the narration. I felt very excited when I heard the plot. Director Sudheer Varma is very clear regarding what he wants. Working with him was a very good experience.

You are being very selective regarding your film choices. Can you talk about it?

I don’t want to do many films in a short duration. I have clarity regarding what I want to do. I know where I will stand in the next five years. Hence I don’t want to rush myself in selecting movies. I do not have any regrets, and I don’t worry if I will get opportunities or not.

Can you tell us about your future projects?

Currently, I am doing films in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil languages. A few other projects are in the discussion stage.
