Sree Vishnu, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Priyadarshi’s family entertainer Om Bheem Bush is all set to arrive in cinemas on 22nd March. The film is directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti of Husharu fame. V Celluloid and Sunil Balusu produced the film. UV Creations is presenting it. Ahead of the release, Priyadarshi interacted with the media, and here is the transcript.

How did you become part of Om Bheem Bush?

I have known Harsha since Husharu. I should have worked in his previous films, but it didn’t materialize. I liked the story of Om Bheem Bush. I got excited when I learned Sree Vishnu and Rahul are part of the film. Also, UV Creations is backing it. Om Bheem Bush has an interesting concept mixed with horror and fantasy elements.

Could you tell us about your character?

I played Dr. Vinay Gummadi in the film. Me and my friends join Osmania to do Ph. D., but our intention is to enjoy the stipend and hostel facility. I believe in science, but the other two don’t. So, there will be humor among our characters. Om Bheem Bush will have nonstop entertainment. It also has an emotional point. There is no similarity between Brochevarevarura and Om Bheem Bush.

You acted in a key role in Mangalavaaram. Did you plan to do movies as a protagonist?

I prefer being an actor than a hero. If I act as a hero, there will be an image burden. Being an actor is the best choice and that way I can show more variations. I also believe an actor would get more opportunities. Even in Mangalavaaram, I played a key role. I am lucky that writers and directors are penning such wonderful roles for me.

Why is the film titled Om Bheem Bush?

We didn’t think about this title when the script works were completed. We three had a good rapport, and we wanted the title to be trendy. That’s how the title Om Bheem Bush originated. It is a catchy word and I believe the title is one of the assets of the film.

What changes did you observe in you compared to the past?

I was in my teens during Pelli Choopulu. I observed many changes after that, but Mangalavaaram left a very high impact. When I went out recently, people recognized me. I also understood with a lot of fame comes a greater responsibility.

Could you tell us about your upcoming projects?

I am playing a lead role in a film that is in the production stage. I am also acting in Game Changer.
