Hyper has created a lot of buzz and is ready for release. On this occasion, we caught up with the film’s director Santosh Srinivas for a detailed interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Why such a long gap after Rabhasa ?

Post the failure of the film, I took an intentional break and worked hard on my script. Once I was very confident about my next film then only I announced it out.

How bad was the failure of Rabhasa ?

Luckily, things were not so bad and everyone treated me well. Stars like Bunny, Ram and Dharam Tej wanted to do films with me. I had a lot of support and things went well for me.

Was Ram your original choice for this film ?

Yes ! this role has been written completely keeping him in mind. The entire script suits Ram and his body language quite well.

How did you design Ram’s character ?

Ram will be showcased in a completely new way. The way his relationship with his dad has been showcased is quite new and will impress everyone.

The report is that there is a social message in the film ?

Yes ! there is an important social message in the film and to find out what it is you need to watch the film.

Your working experience with 14 Reels ?

They are one of the best producers I have ever worked with. Their passion and dedication towards films are just awesome. They gave me complete freedom and allowed to make a good film.

Will you ever direct films with stories written by others ?

No ! I mostly write my own stories and also do not like directing remakes.

Major highlights of the film ?

Apart from Ram’s character, Satyaraj and Rao Ramesh will impress you with their performances.

About Raashi Khanna ?

She will be seen in a complete glamorous role in the film. Also, her role will have a comical touch which will go well with the masses.

Your next projects ?

I have a few scripts lined up and will only work on them once Hyper is released well.
