Released as a Sankranti festive treat in January this year, Hanu-Man, the Telugu superhero film starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in lead roles, ended up being a mammoth blockbuster. The Prasanth Varma directorial had grossed over Rs 350 crore at the global box office.
It was earlier reported that Hanu-Man’s Telugu version will be released in Japan with Japanese subtitles on October 4. This evening, director Prasanth Varma took to X and shared a special Japanese poster of Hanu-Man. Following the historic success of the Baahubali franchise, RRR, and several other Indian movies in Japan, there has been an unprecedented craze for Indian movies in Japan.
Hanu-Man also features Kollywood actors Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai in crucial roles. K Niranjan Reddy produced the movie under his Primeshow Entertainment banner. We will have to wait and see how the Japanese audience will welcome this acclaimed Indian superhero flick.
