This photograph featuring the core cast and crew of the upcoming Tamil period action drama, Thangalaan, was captured by star Tamil composer GV Prakash Kumar during the film’s promotional event earlier today. Hero Chiyaan Vikram, actresses Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan, director Pa Ranjith, and producer Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green were clicked by the ace composer, who is also seen in the picture.
Thangalaan stars took part in a special interview, which will be out soon. They spoke about the painstaking efforts put in by the entire cast and crew. Vikram’s stunning makeover is being hailed as one of his career’s best. Going by the recently released theatrical trailer, Pa Ranjith seems to have come up with yet another path-breaking emotional story of oppression and valiant battle.
Thangalaan is set against the Kolar Gold Fields backdrop. This pan-Indian epic saga will hit theaters worldwide in multiple languages on August 15. Jio Studios co-produced the movie.
