Jakir is the hero and director of the new movie ‘Bachelors 2’. The movie is the sequel to the 2001 hit ‘Bachelors’. The movie was produced by M.Y.Hussain and Y.Sri Ram. Let us see how the movie fares.

Story :

Jeeva (Jeeva) and his gang harass an elder man called Swamynathan and kidnap his daughter. ACP Sathya is hot on the tail of these kidnappers. Meanwhile Vicky (Jakir), Ajay (Avin), Appu (Trupti Sharma) and Nikhil ( Sumith Rai) are four very close friends who work in a software company. During a particularly enjoyable party, they get drunk a lot and end up in unexpectedly difficult situations. As they try to come out of that situation, they end up in the kidnapping case of Jeeva and gang. A road trip is thrown into the story. What happens next forms the story.

Plus Points :

Jakir has some experience as an actor so he is alright in the role of the hero. Avin is also ok in the role of Ajay. Shanti is ok. Apart from that, there are not many plus points to talk about in this movie.

Minus Points :

Trupti Sharma is a major irritant and she keeps uttering extremely vulgar and double meaning dialogues. The actor who has performed the role of ACP Sathya is a major minus. Only the director should know why he chose this actor. Nikhil has no clue as to what he is doing and what is happening. The rest of the actors are so bad that they are not fit to even starr in C Grade films. There are tons of other minus points which cannot even be explained.

Technical aspects :

Jakir has concentrated more on double meaning dialogues and vulgar scenes rather than on direction. Screenplay is pretty bad. Music is a major minus. Infact, some of the songs are direct lifts of some popular Hindi songs. Editing and cinematography are poor.

Dialogues are atrocious. They are extremely vulgar and most of them have been cut by the censor board.

Verdict :

The movie is a major disaster and there is nothing in it that is worth watching. The movie was made with the intention of catering to a very select section of the audience. But with the heavy censor board cuts, the movie will not reach even those people. Highly avoidable flick. This movie is an insult to the original ‘Bachelors’.
