Shivam
Energetic hero Ram, is back with yet another masala entertainer Shivam. The audio which is composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad was released recently. Let’s now see how the complete music album turns out to be.

3Song 1 : Shivam

Analysis : The album kicks off with the energetic title song Shivam. Lyrics penned by Bhaskar Batla are catchy and hit you instantly. DSP adds a fast beat to this number and provides enough scope for Ram to showcase his dancing skills. Karthik’s voice suits the tempo of the song well and brings a vibrant and fresh feel to this number.

Song 2 : Prema Ane Picchi2

Analysis : The second and probably the best song in the album is Prema Ane Picchi. An out and out teasing number, this song has an entertaining effect. Narendra’s singing, Bhaskar Batla’s lyrics and the upbeat mood go hand in hand and make this number quite enjoyable to listen.

6Song 3 : I love you too

Analysis : Next in line is ‘I Love you too’. This is a typical DSP style number which has a romantic beat and contemporary lyrics. The orchestration is elegant and sets the mood of the song quite lovable. Vocals by Yasin Nizar are pretty good and make this number a instant hit with the youth.

Song 4 : Andamaina Lokam5

Analysis : Moving forward, the fourth song is a complete love ballad Andamina Lokam. Sung pleasantly by DSP’s brother Sagar, this song has a soothing effect on you. The way the western beats are nicely interlaced with some Indian instruments is pretty good. With this number, Devi has made sure that the album has a easy effect on the listeners.

4Song 5 : Gunde Aagi Potande

Analysis: As expected, the last song in the album is a complete mass number Gunde Aagi Potande. The catch phrase of this number instantly reminds you of DSP’s own tune Top Lechipoddi. Talented singer, Hema Chandra does a wonderful job and makes this song work big time. The lyrics are massy and the way DSP uses them with the groovy beats is good.

Verdict :

With Shivam, Devi Sri Prasad once again comes up with a vibrant and catchy album. Interesting aspect is that he does not experiment much and gives some soothing numbers which will be liked even more after watching the grand visuals and Ram’s energetic dance moves. Shivam, Prema Ane Pichhi and I Love you too are our picks and will especially be liked by the youth.
